Our network of small multi-occupancy homes and single occupancy Specialist Resource Units give us the flexibility to support vulnerable children of different backgrounds and needs.

Our people, experience and approach to care are what make us stand out from other providers.

We accept referrals from both local authorities and independent providers of care services for young people, male or female, usually aged between eight and seventeen. Typically they have a complex history and multiple needs.

Our Services

Residential Child Care

Homely, nurturing environments managed by highly experienced and qualified managers. Our homes are staffed with dynamic staff teams who bring a wealth of knowledge and training to the delivery of the individual care plans of our young people.

Therapeutic Services

Our partnership with the Northern School of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy (NSCAP) is based on the principle of integration: combining education/training, clinical practice, research and evaluation into all areas of residential care.

If it weren’t for the home and the staff team I wouldn’t have grown, so thank you for putting up with me through thick and thin. Barwick House

Barwick House is a registered two to two ratio residential home, with a third emergency placement bed available, which accommodates young people of both genders. The house is situated within easy reach of local amenities, Barnsley town centre and the M1 motorway.

Bole is a registered single occupancy home which provides accommodation for one young person with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties. The home creates individual care plans for the young person tailored around their needs at the time of admission to the home.

Denby House is a registered two to two residential home which accommodates young people of both genders, with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The home is situated within easy reach of local amenities, Horbury town centre and within close proximity to the M1 motorway and Wakefield.

Dove House

Dove House is a registered four-bedroom residential children’s home which can accommodate four young people of all genders with emotional and behavioural difficulties. There is also a small, separate building which can be utilised as a semi-independence training flat to raise the levels to five young people.

Ivory Villa is a registered 2-2 home which provides accommodation for 2 young people of both genders with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties. The home is located within easy reach of the local amenities within Barnsley town centre and is near to The Metrodome Sport complex and Oakwell, the home of Barnsley Football Club.
